Every Saturday starting at 8:30am to 2:00 pm you can shop local produce and goods at the Uptown Gig Harbor Farmers Market located at 4701 Point Fosdick Drive. I join a few folks to take a stroll through the market on Saturday mornings and am so excited for the warmer weather that will be coming our way in the coming weeks! I have two favorite spots, fresh made salsa and Click here for Gluten Free Cupcakes from Bella Bella. I was spoiled and can say that the cupcake was so delicious! I will allow myself one a month as they are not low fat! The amount of vendors this year keeps growing and we are looking forward to supporting the local growers and various vendors. This is the sweet basil plant I bought two weeks ago and it is doing great! So many things to enjoy – make sure you visit the Gig Harbor Farmers Market soon!

Qwest Field Seattle, WA GO HAWKS!
Remember when the Seattle Seahawks were a possibility for the Super Bowl? I sure do! Even though I wasn’t physically at the Qwest Stadium on January 10, 2011 for this game, I was home filled with friends. We were just as loud and just as excited! Always a Seattle Seahawks Fan!! GO HAWKS! This article shows our spirit in the Pacific NW! This Super Bowl Sunday we will watch the Green Bay Packers hopefully win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

This Saturday from 10am – 6pm a free event called “The Art of Chocolate” sponsored by the Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront Association will take place with the local businesses of our down town Gig Harbor. Over 30 Merchants will be participating in this event, so come on down and have some fun shopping, looking at our local Art, eating and drinking! Cheers

I am so excited to share with you out here that I have received the book titled “gluten-free girl and the chef”written by Shauna James Ahern & Daniel Ahern. I found the gluten-free girl out on Facebook and have been following her posts, tweets and blog. It is so exciting to see so many people engaged with questions and answers out here. One post out on Shauna’s FB page inquired about traveling and gluten free resturants available, to which another person posted Click Here For The Gluten Free Menus The internet and web have so many great things, learning is a lot of fun! My husband I enjoy many great things, one of them being a nice Cocktail. This came to me from my friend Deborah Johnson today and I must say it looks fabulous and I can hardly wait to make it for friends! What a way to make something simple, but spectacular! I can hardly wait to make these for our friends as we salute the master at making this special cocktail, Dick Bower Sr. May he rest in peace. I am so sad to see our local wine merchant closing its doors this coming month. Please Click here for Morso and Water to Wine information We have experienced so many great events here, along with meeting so many new local friends who enjoy the same things as we do! Great Wine!
They will however continue with the Morso Wine Bar and please help this small business stay locally and visit them soon!

It is indeed a Happy New Year!! We met up with our dear friends Carla & Marco Malich yesterday for dinner at the Blazing Onion here in Gig Harbor, WA. As usual the customer service is top notch! Greeted with smiles & hospitality! John and I arrived a few minutes early and as they presented the menu, I was over joyed to be informed they have this Gluten Free Menu, Click Here! Yes, it is true! My happiness came out with a big Woo Hoo! I ordered the California Burger with a side salad. Everything was presented so nicely. The taste and texture were divine! We dine in the bar and our beverages were spectacular also. I am so happy to share this great news and hope that you can share with your family & friends who have Gluten issues of this great restaurant. Blazing Onion is doing everything they can to get families out to enjoy a meal. Doing business in a different way to keep going! Great Job!

How is it that an entire year has come and gone? I started up with this blog one year ago, it is clear I will need to work harder at it and focus on posting all the fun & wonderful things I was able to experience in 2010. Our real estate business has changed as the market has so drastically changed. Not giving up, just having to do things in a different manner. Change is a good thing and quite frankly it is something to help get us excited about our business and how we need to do it! Hoping that 2011 brings you as much Joy, Happiness and overall Health & Wealth that there is to be had. Look forward to so many great things to come from Living Puget Sound!
